Composition in Grey (Rag-Time)
I was fascinated by this painting. At first glance it did not look anything like rag-time however I was viewing it purely as an abstract and not considering that it could be representational - the more I look at it the more I can see two people dancing to a rag-time beat.
I am now considering what it would look like if it was a march or jive.
